| I have been designing my own patterns for many years. Recently I have drawn up a few pieces to share. This is a guide for making a Sailor Costume. I tried many variations before settling on the design you see here. My patterns include in depth set by step instructions for successfully creating your own outfit. Sometimes I make the middy sleeves a little longer and omit the cuffs, trimming the sleeve with ribbon to match the ribbon on the collar. I may also leave out the waist band and use the middy as a jacket. example pictured below. |
